I am a co-PI on the EUI and SPICE instruments onboard the ESA Solar Orbiter space mission. Solar Orbiter was launched in 2020. I am PI of the Solar Spectral Irradiance Monitor (SoSpIM) on the JAXA Solar-C mission.
The main goals are to understand the creation and propagation of the solar wind into the heliosphere, and the trigger and impact of solar flares.
